As members of the West Parents Group (WPG), the executive board is collecting $250 per student for the 2025-2026 school year. These contributions are vital to support the various activities and programs that benefit our students and staff.
Please note the following additional items:
For students new to West School, kindly add the $10 Emergency/ Earthquake Kit fee to help replenish and update classroom emergency supplies.
For incoming 5th graders, please include the $200 Graduation Dues.
Every family will receive an electronic copy of the HCSD All School Directory in the Fall. If you would like a hard copy in addition, please select that option.
We aim to achieve 100% participation again this year. Thank you for your ongoing support of our school, and Go Wildcats!
This list outlines the activities and programs that enrich our students' educational experiences but are not funded by HCSD. Dues collected are allocated across the following categories:
Classroom and Educational: Teacher stipends, classroom supplies, Art-in-Action supplies, classroom specific activities, emergency supplies, and support for Student Council
Staff Recognition: Staff appreciation activities and events including Staff Holiday Luncheon, End-of-Year Staff Appreciation Lunch, and teacher gifts
Events: Community-building events such as Welcome Back Carnival Hoedown, Movie Night, Bingo Night, STEAM Fair, and Variety Show
Allocations & Programs: School and classroom support such as facilities improvements and special programs, e.g., Art in Action

NB: We wanted to share some important information about the incredible programs and offerings at West School and throughout HCSD. Many of these would not be possible without the additional funding provided by our educational partner, the Hillsborough Schools Foundation (HSF).
HSF donations supplement state funding and annual student dues, directly contributing to the unique educational experience at the HCSD schools. These additional offerings include, but are not limited to, reduced class sizes, educational specialists, counseling services, SMART technology, and Chromebooks for every student.
Please consider donating to HSF today to help us continue providing these vital resources.
